THe DealFatigue Blog Provides a Human Perspective of Entertainment Law’s Often Primal Pulse

Entertainment law is a unique beast despite the many well heeled, well pedigreed attorneys trying to drown out the primal drum thumping of fevered egos and the next big it kids.  While there is the ever present contract law, lead footed and mired in millennia of doctrines and caselaw, and lead windows into terms and practices the Vatican would even find ritualistic, there really isn’t much structure to it all.  And that is why I like the Deal Fatigue Blog by Peter Kaufman.  Not only is it penetrating in terms of technical  analysis, but it gets into the oh so human moments that make entertainment law a practice area fit for those ready to bark as well as draft.  It’s been on hiatus for a couple of months but there is plenty of good stuff there to read.  Coincidentally, both of our blogs are members of the entmedialaw.com blog hub.
